"A Bet Against the Banks"

And, in the interest of "fair and balanced" coverage, here is the diametrically opposite view related to investing in financials. The author is betting that the financials will keep going down, many institutions will go bankrupt and the rest will have a long time before they recover. I obviously do not agree with the author, in light of the huge monetary stimulus (lowering rates by the Fed) and the huge fiscal stimulus (the tax rebates package passed by Congress). I think we will dig out of this hole sooner rather than later. Or so goes my bet anyways...
