Google and Clean Energy

Google is getting into the clean energy business. Here's their vision. (This post on their blog gives the outline of a plan.) We need private enterprise to think out of the box and drive this kind of a technological vision. I have issues with the Federal Government getting into this business. I'd much sooner get the Feds to get out of the energy business so that all the renewable energy technologies will have a level playing field.
