Expensive Eyeglasses

I got my new pair of eyeglasses. They cost a mind-boggling $298! Granted they are progressive lenses, but the frame is standard (read el cheapo). And this was with a couple of standard discounts from our health plan. There has to be a cheaper way. I just have not looked around. I will not make that mistake again.

PS: So I Googled "eyeglasses online" and found a whole bunch of online vendors (such as this shop). I will be wiser next time when it rolls around in 3 or 4 years...
