Dal Fry in Slow Cooker
I just started a Dal Fry in the slow cooker.

- 1 1/2 cup moog dal, rinsed twice
- 4 cups water
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 4 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 heaping tsp minced garlic
- 1 heaping tsp coriander-cumin powder
- 1 heaping tsp turmeric
- 1 heaping tsp salt (or to taste)
